GameDay Venture into New Partnership with WA Flying Disc Association
GameDay, powered by Stack Sports, are delighted to have entered into an agreement with the Western Australian Flying Disc Association (WAFDA) family, including WA Ultimate and the WA Disc Golf clubs.
Established to promote and develop Ultimate across the region, WAFDA is involved in coordinating a wide range of activities from local leagues and tournaments to skill development clinics and educational programs. Since its formation, WAFDA has played a crucial role in expanding the visibility and infrastructure of Ultimate in Western Australia, making it a vibrant community for both competitive and recreational players.
The multi-year partnership will allow for WAFDA to lean on Gameday’s Passport console for all Membership, Registration, Competitions and Events Management requirements as well as cement a digital footprint for events and participation programs.
Kosta Dokolas, GameDay Senior Sport Specialist, said: ‘We are thrilled to engage with WAFDA, the first of the Flying Disc Organisations on GameDay. We look forward to partnering with a growing, ambitious sport, and look forward to helping them build the sport and digital footprint across WA.”
Andrew Hutcheon, WAFDA President, said: “Our growing membership will benefit greatly from the organisation and engagement provided by the GameDay suite of solutions. Given the rapid growth of Ultimate and Disc Golf in WA, we required a unified CRM that could serve our membership better and contribute to the growth of all Disc Sport offerings in the state.”
GameDay’s partnership with WAFDA is in conjunction with Ultimate Frisbee being one of the new sports recently added to GameDay’s competition and tournament management, with the platform now catering for 20 team-based sports.
