GameDay are excited to announce their latest UK sporting NGB partnership, with the launch of the English Ice Hockey Association’s new digital platform to support management of the sport across the national game.

The EIHA are rolling out GameDay’s core Membership & Competitions integrated platform to the sport, streamlining their club and member registrations and all competition management for the upcoming season. We will also be providing the EIHA with their Event Management platform for a range of the sport and coach development courses, and ticketed events such as finals and tournaments.

The EIHA will also be utilising GameDay View, our advanced integrated data and insights tool, to support strategic decision making and reporting on the growth of their exciting sport – with discussions already underway about other GameDay functionality that can benefit the sport moving forwards.

Greg Sturge, GameDay director of strategy (EMEA), said: “The English Ice Hockey Association are a great governing body with a clear vision to grow and develop their fast-paced, engaging sport across the country. We know that Ice Hockey fans and participants are some of the most passionate and engaged sporting followers, and we are very excited to be rolling out our Membership & Competition Management software across the sport.

“With some sport-specific features, such as Ice Hockey team/scoresheets, already having been developed as part of the project and our commitment to the sport, we are looking forward to expanding this partnership in the coming years and growing our presence and support of Ice Hockey as a whole across the country and region.”

Barrie Archer, EIHA chair, said: “We are delighted to be working with Gameday on this new and exciting venture that will allow the efficient and effective management of the sport.

“Gameday have a great reputation with other NGBs around the world, and their commitment to developing solutions for sport management has already been evident in our work with them to date.

“This partnership is hugely positive for the sport and we look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
