GameDay levels up with UserWay to power Language Translation and Accessibility
GameDay, a market leader in the provision of sports and event software to customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the wider APAC and EMEA markets, has selected UserWay to provide AI-powered in-app Language Translation capability and next-gen web-accessibility tools to support the diverse needs of customers and users globally.
This new integration will be available to admin users across the GameDay and Passport platforms from June 2025, delivering powerful language and accessibility tools directly within the user experience. GameDay users will benefit from UserWay’s AI-powered live language translation feature, which enables instant, AI-powered translation across more than 50 languages – dramatically improving accessibility and engagement for administrators globally.
The partnership also introduces UserWay’s industry-leading accessibility widget, which offers a range of tools to help ensure platforms are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These include options for text resizing, colour contrast adjustments, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, dyslexia-friendly fonts and more—enabling a more inclusive experience for users of all abilities.
Mark Pititto, GameDay’s Director of Product, said: “We’ve been exploring the market for solutions to improve the accessibility and usability of our products along with in-app language translation for our global user base. Integrating UserWay is a huge step forward in our mission to make GameDay accessible to all users. Whether it’s supporting users in their native language or helping people of all abilities engage with our platforms, this feature enhances our offering and aligns with our values as a digital partner to our customers around the world.”
With this new functionality, GameDay is helping sports and event organisations remove digital barriers, broaden our global reach, and deliver more inclusive digital experiences to admin users around the world.
