Guernsey sells for $16,000 in GameDay-powered auction
A signed, match-worn Collingwood player guernsey has sold for over $16,000 in their latest online auction.
AFL star Nick Daicos’ guernsey is one of 44 to have been auctioned off on the GameDay-powered platform, with profits from the sale of their ANZAC Day guernseys donated to the RSL’s ANZAC appeal.
The ANZAC Day fixture between Collingwood and Essendon has become a significant part of ANZAC Day itself and represents an important part of the way Australian’s honour our ANZAC history.
Collingwood wore a special ANZAC guernsey to mark the occasion, and the auction helped raised over $77,000 in total, through the sale of 45 pieces of memorabilia.
This included 44 guernseys and one pair of special ANZAC boots worn and signed by Jack Crisp.
