GameDay, powered by Stack Sports, have unveiled an exciting new partnership with Podge Events.

Podge Events are one of the most renowned event providers in the UK, delivering five sector-leading networking opportunities a year across five different industries, and working with agencies and organisations to deliver innovative and challenging briefs.

GameDay are delighted to be partnering with Podge to provide them with our sector-leading GameDay Events & Ticketing platform to facilitate registrations and ticketing across their event portfolio, whilst also becoming sponsors of the Sports Podge – one of the leading industry events for senior leaders in the sporting sector.

Sports Podge returns on May 10 for its 19th year, and this time they have teamed up with the Invictus Games Foundation to help celebrate their 10th anniversary. The event is set to be a brilliant afternoon, with 300 of the top names in sport and the business of sport in attendance.

Podge lunches are a chance for the leaders and influencers from various fields of expertise to gather for an agenda-free afternoon of networking at its most relaxed and enjoyable.

Each Podge event has become a must-attend for the who’s who of the creative digital, sport and music industries. Several hugely successful professional collaborations have been born from Podge’s events, and because of their unique nature, demand has continued to grow.

Greg Sturge, GameDay director of strategy (EMEA), said: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Podge Events to support their continued growth and delivery, and especially to be sponsoring the Sports Podge

“Podge have established themselves as industry leaders, facilitating innovative and ground-breaking events that truly shape the industries they operate in, and it is hugely exciting for us to become part of the Podge family.

“The further chance to support an event being delivered by the Invictus Games Foundation, and thereby by extension supporting their amazing work, is equally important to us.

“GameDay’s Events & Ticketing solution will help streamline Podge’s event entry processes, including on-the-day QR code ticketing, and we look forward to meeting everyone involved with Sports Podge from across the industry on 10 May!”

Clare Jones, Podge Events MD, said: “We have been looking for the right ticketing partner for well over four years now, and we are delighted to say that GameDay provided the perfect fit.

“We hope that over the course of 2024 and beyond, we can improve the experience for or attendees across all five of the Podge Events.”
