GameDay team up with Irish Olympic Handball Association
GameDay and the Irish Olympic Handball Association (IOHA) are delighted to be launching a brand-new partnership to digitalise the management of the sport across Ireland, with the start of the new season this coming weekend.
GameDay’s best-in-class membership and competition management platform will be powering all elements of player registration and fixture organisation, as well as providing the national governing body with insights on their sport and participation.
This partnership adds to GameDay’s presence in and support of the sport, having announced our England Handball partnership earlier this year, as well as further growing our presence in the country’s NGB landscape alongside existing partnerships with Hockey, Basketball and Cricket Ireland.
Greg Sturge, GameDay director of strategy (EMEA), said: “Ireland Handball are a great new partner for us – a small NGB with big ambitions to grow their presence and impact.
“We are looking forward to helping them achieve those ambitions with our advanced registration, data and fixtures capabilities, and we hope to support the IOHA to better understand and promote their participation across the country, making the sport easy to access and participate in to facilitate their exciting growth plans.”
Joao Ferreira, operations director for the IOHA, said: “We are thrilled and proud to announce a strategic partnership with GameDay, a leading membership and competition management platform in the sports and events industry! This partnership marks a significant milestone for both our organisations, as it brings together our strengths and expertise to enhance the experience for all our users – whether you’re an athlete, team manager, event organizer or a sports enthusiast.
