GameDay partner with London Sport
GameDay are excited to be working in partnership with London Sport to provide the events platform for their upcoming 2022 Active London Conference.
The conference, which takes place on Wednesday 21 September, is the largest of its kind dedicated solely to the future of physical activity and sport in the nation’s capital.
It will be their first in-person conference since 2019.
The conference will look at health inequalities, active environments and design, and children and young people.
Thought leaders, decision-makers, policymakers, and professional and community organisations from across the sector will come together to be part of the conversation to shape the future of sport and physical activity in London, and we are pleased to be able to play a small part in facilitating this.
It also further enhances the relationship between ourselves and London Sport, after we provided sponsorship for last year’s London Sport Awards.
Greg Sturge, GameDay director of strategy (EMEA), said: “We are very excited to formally partner with London Sport to provide their events platform for the upcoming Active London conference.
“London Sport are a great organisation doing great work across London communities, and we look forward to supporting their ongoing delivery with our next-generation events and ticketing platform.”
Laurence Shenker, London Sport event manager, said: “The partnership between London Sport and GameDay is an exciting one which provides a user-friendly and effective ticketing platform for upcoming London Sport events.
“We believe the GameDay platform is the right one for us ahead of our Active London conference, taking place in September 2022. The team at GameDay have been great to work with, and I look forward to working closely with them over the next year and hopefully longer.”

About London Sport
Physical activity and sport has the power to help people live happier, healthier lives, and to achieve a happier and healthier city. London Sport works in partnership with the city’s local authorities and other organisations to provide opportunities for less active adults to be active and for young people to develop a positive physical activity habit for life.
Supported by Sport England and the Mayor of London, London Sport focuses on those from under-represented and under-served communities who face the most barriers to participation.
London Sport helps tackle the inequalities that exist in terms of access and opportunity in physical activity and sport, but also brings physical activity and sport as a solution to wider societal inequalities.
Every Londoner deserves the physical, mental and social benefits of an active life, and the organisation will use place-based working to bring these benefits to certain groups and communities of inactive Londoners.
