Each month, we will bring you a round-up of the latest news and updates from the world of GameDay, both internally and with our GameDay stakeholders/customers. Customer Notification: Update on Permanent Closure of GameDay Classic

One of our legacy products; GameDay Classic , will continue through the next phase of our product consolidation strategy which will see the permanent closure of this platform. The next phase will require a number of customers to transition off GameDay Classic before the end of May 2023. Many GameDay Classic customers have already transitioned to another GameDay product to manage their Membership, Events, Online Shop and/or Website. The next phase of this product consolidation project will run from February to May 2023 and will involve selected customers utilising GameDay Classic for their Membership, Events, Online Shop and Websites. Customers that have been contacted by GameDay should ensure all required data and settlement reports are extracted prior to their agreed deadline to transition off GameDay Classic onto one of our other Products.  Below are some further details on how this change will work along with some FAQs. GameDay renew partnership with SFNL

Following another successful 12 months, the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL) have extended their partnership with GameDay ahead of the 2023 season.  Established in 1993, the SFNL is the premier senior men's and women's Australian rules football and netball competition in Melbourne's south-east.  At present, they boast more than 5,000 participants across 39 member clubs. The move will see GameDay continue to support and enhance the operations of the SFNL, who join the Riddell District Football Netball League (RDFNL) in continuing their association with us into the new season.  David Jennings, SFNL football operations manager, said: “We have decided to stay with GameDay in 2023 as we’re confident in the database and what it provides for our clubs and volunteers.  “The support GameDay provides the league and our clubs is first class, and GameDay is always willing to listen and assist all queries should we need. “The additional features this year have also been extremel

GameDay and Rewards4 have partnered up alongside our long-term customer the Rugby Football League (RFL), delivering an integration that allows RFL Our League Active Members the opportunity to save money on their national registration fees when registering with GameDay.  Rewards4 is the largest operator of sports-based rewards programmes which helps supporters save money watching and supporting the team they love. Their award-winning loyalty solutions allows sports fans to be rewarded by collecting points for their transactional and engagement behaviour which can then be redeemed to save money with their clubs on tickets, memberships and merchandise purchases. The more points fans collect, the bigger the saving they will make. GameDay has a long-standing relationship with the Rugby Football League, having provided the official registration and competition management platform for rugby league since 2016. GameDay supporting Hockey Ireland’s journey of digital transformation

In November 2021, Hockey Ireland, the national governing body for the sport of field hockey in Ireland, enlisted GameDay to facilitate a major digital transformation project.  The partnership covered many different areas of Hockey Ireland’s online operations, all of which were designed to support the growth and modernisation of the sport. GameDay provided a number of different services: Implementation of an all-in-one membership and competition management system (specifically for Hockey Ireland’s national competitions), including the migration of existing data from Hockey Ireland’s previous provider.  The ability for a hierarchical structure to be put in place for Hockey Ireland and its four primary provinces. Implementation of a registration platform, allowing Hockey Ireland direct access to members and furthering the communication between the two parties.
